Ormskirk Warrant

Officers from the Ormskirk Neighbourhood Policing Team, supported by Task Force officers, executed a warrant at an address in Ormskirk as part of an intelligence-led operation.

On 08/08/2026 your local neighbourhood policing team have executed a warrant and during the search of the property, Task Force officers located and seized a significant number of offensive weapons and other prohibited items, including bladed articles, crossbows and suspected imitation firearms.

Officers also seized five dogs from the address due to concerns for their welfare and evidence of neglect by the owner. The animals have been safeguarded and are receiving appropriate care.

A male was arrested on suspicion of the related offences and remains in police custody whilst enquiries continue.

This positive result highlights the effective partnership working between Ormskirk CBM's and Task Force officers in targeting criminality, acting on community intelligence and removing dangerous weapons from our communities, while also ensuring vulnerable animals are protected from harm.
